One of my favorite bands and one that gets a lot of play on the old IPod. Probably my favorite is Let it Roll but Dixie Chicken comes a close second.
A lot of people thought that Little Feat was a Southern band because of Dixie Chicken and Oh Alanta and never realized that they were a California band. I was surprised when I learned that the Dixie Chicks named themselves after the Little Feat song. Thanks for reminding me...and I have Willin' playing right now.

It is a date that should be remembered.
I didn't know the Dixie Chicks got their name from the song... cool.
