Republicans Start To Really Play Hardball. How's That Long Game Working For You Mister President?

"Virginia can challenge in court the constitutionality of President Barack Obama's signature healthcare reform law, a judge has ruled.

The decision is a setback to the administration, which will now have to defend the law in court in the run-up to the November elections.

The state argued the law's requirement that Americans purchase health insurance is unconstitutional.

The state's governor and attorney general are Republicans.

The Obama administration has argued the requirement is structured like a tax on those who do not purchase insurance and that the federal government has broad constitutional authority to design tax policy.

US District Judge Henry Hudson rejected the federal government's motion to dismiss Virginia's suit. He emphasized his ruling was merely an initial step and said the issue was ripe for court review..."

Judge Hudson is a grade-A Republican operative... but that won't stop the media from calling the fight against Obama before the first round is over.

Obama should have started day one, by kicking Republican ass and I am so sick of watching him turn the other cheek or bending over and spreading both cheeks in his desire to feed his Republican fetish.

Democrats... and hell, all Americans, need a President who can defend them from the Republican/Corporate/Fanatical right wing. He helped give them all the money in the Treasury. He let them write the health care reform bill. He let them write the finance regulations after the economic 9/11...

If the Republicans and the media can talk this country into voting the Republicans back into the majority in November, President Obama isn't going to stand a chance... and Congress's 2006 pledge of 'impeachment is off the table' is going to be the epitaph I carve in the Democratic Party's tombstone.
