"...President Obama, overseeing the regular Tuesday counterterrorism meeting of two dozen security officials in the White House Situation Room, took a moment to study the faces. It was Jan. 19, 2010, the end of a first year in office punctuated by terrorist plots and culminating in a brush with catastrophe over Detroit on Christmas Day, a reminder that a successful attack could derail his presidency. Yet he faced adversaries without uniforms, often indistinguishable from the civilians around them.
“How old are these people?” he asked, according to two officials present. “If they are starting to use children,” he said of Al Qaeda, “we are moving into a whole different phase...”
This New York Times article that thoughtful journalists and Americans are thinking about this week lays out the dilemma we as Americans are facing in the War On Terror. It seems so painfully obvious that we are not addressing the core issues of why these people 'hate our freedom', as the man who destroyed America once eloquently described foreign terrorists.
Why indeed.
MY definition of terrorist extends to Republican politicians and the people that vote for them, but I am not advocating drone strikes... but don't be so sure they will offer the same courtesy when they sit in the White House again.
America has voted itself into a corner and our current President doesn't know how to get out of it. His Republican opponents won't give him a chance, nor will the American Press... so the Nobel Peace Prize was meaningless and grows more embarrassing every day, but what is President Obama to do? What if another major terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 or the Deep Water Horizon oil spill occurs? We have never given alternative solutions a chance to be debated and developed.
So we have a Kill List. Okay, so that is our only option.
That, my fellow Americans is bad politics and stupid diplomacy.
From bad to worse it goes.

And how about our President's efforts to get the Governor of Wisconsin impeached? Obama posted a video on You Tube, and thanks.

It seems so shateringly apparent that we are not dealing with the primary concerns of why these individuals 'hate our freedom', as the man who demolished The united states once gracefully described international terrorists.
